She completed her MBBS from MGM Medical College, Indore and post graduation (MS Ophthalmology) from Sawai Man Singh Medical College, Jaipur. She has further received her long-term glaucoma fellowship training from the prestigious Narayana Nethralaya, Bangalore. She has presented various research papers in National and International conferences and has received awards for paper presentations in glaucoma. She holds publications in several indexed national and international journals. She has worked as an Assistant Professor at Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Sitapur, where she treated high volumes of cataract and glaucoma patients. She also participated in the teaching and surgical training of post-graduate students. Her areas of interest include micro-incision cataract surgery, angle closure glaucoma, pseudoexfoliation glaucoma and combined glaucoma-cataract surgeries.

She is currently working as a Glaucoma and Cataract Consultant at SRJ Netralaya, Indore.
